Hello Reader, Every Sunday, I sit down and reflect on the previous seven days before writing this email. And every week, I'm left with exactly the same thought. How did so much happen in just one week? Conversations. Ideas. Challenges. New relationships. New opportunities. New perspectives. It feels as though months of progress are somehow compressed into a handful of days. A few weeks ago I was still in Bali, surrounded by founders from around the world, questioning assumptions and rethinking the future of yoorz.ai. Now, back in London, that momentum hasn't slowed. If anything, it's accelerated. Yet this week, I realised something. When we start building something, we tend to focus on what we're trying to create. The company. The product. The career. The investment. The outcome. But we rarely think about what the journey is quietly creating inside us. I keep finding myself saying: "Once I get through this week..." Then another week arrives. Another challenge. Another conversation. Another lesson. Another opportunity. The mountain never seems to get smaller. You simply become a better climber. I think that's true of almost every entrepreneur. We often imagine success as reaching a destination. Increasingly, I believe success is becoming the sort of person capable of handling whatever that destination eventually asks of you. Building yoorz.ai has taught me a great deal about AI. But the biggest lessons haven't really been about technology. They've been about patience. Listening. Relationships. Resilience. Having the humility to change your mind. And trusting a path long before you can clearly see where it leads. Every meaningful shift in the business has started with a conversation. Sometimes one customer. Sometimes one piece of feedback. Sometimes one difficult question. Sometimes simply listening more carefully than speaking. Looking backwards, it all feels connected. Living through it, it simply feels like another ordinary week. Perhaps that's the nature of growth. It rarely announces itself. It accumulates quietly, until one day you realise you think differently, decide differently, and see the world differently than you did just a few months before. The company is evolving. The story is evolving. More importantly... So am I. Maybe that's what building something worthwhile does. It changes the builder first. Have a wonderful Sunday. Dilan P.S. If this resonates with you, I'd genuinely love to hear what your own journey has been teaching you recently. Just hit reply, I read every response. |
My name is Dilan Abeya. I am a life coach who recently graduated from the Jay Shetty Certification School, which is accredited by the Association for Coaching and OTHM approved. I was encouraged to become a life coach because I want to help and serve others who are in need of support. Why? Because I’ve been in some very “dark” times myself - my personal life blew up, I had an incredibly acrimonious divorce, still suffering parental alienation and I lost virtually everything, coupled with my prior career being a very frustrating environment, nothing felt like it was working. But deep down inside, I knew there was more for me in life and that I wanted better for myself and I believe others do too. So, I developed ways to help myself in those moments when I was alone, and I want to help others learn how to help themselves, because there are better times ahead, and ways to help oneself get there. Equally, I know how expensive it is to get professional help, especially when you’re in need, and given suicide rates (especially in men) remain at very high levels (**1 is too high), that would suggest that awareness and access to support is still not getting through to people when they really need it. So, I’m trying to make professional help that is expensive, more accessible to people who might just want to deal with things privately to begin with. Moreover, for people to know that there are personalised resources available and accessible whenever they want. As such, I developed “A.I DILAN” - a virtual version of myself! "A.I DILAN" is a digital product. A quick-help guide combining Al TECH with SELF-CARE. Built for anyone to ask questions to via WhatsApp when they need personalised inspiration or motivation, as if they were messaging me 1-ON-1 but available 24/7 from anywhere in the world. Termed "A.I DILAN" because it's based on what l've written about on my socials, life lessons from my past & supported by what I have learned from my Jay Shetty Life Coaching Certification. Its knowledge base is ChatGPT4 fuelled, so it's vast beyond what I write about, incase people have questions on topics outside of my realm. Benefits include: - Knowledge from a Certified Jay Shetty Life Coach. - Experience-based tips from my life lessons thus far. - Easy-to-use via WhatsApp: an APP most already have. - "Quick-help" extensive resource for guidance. - Natural conversational tone programmed to mimic me. - Confidential and secure. - 24/7 Global. So, for those moments when someone is down & alone, "A.I DILAN" offers support for motivation & tips, trained to respond how I would in person, based on my content, in order to “help one, help oneself” whenever they need, helping people be more self-sufficient when they are on their own, or just want to be left to their own devices. If you’re open to it, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further with you, to make your community aware of this resource.
The Questions I Ask Before I Recommend AI Hello Reader, Last week, I shared my recent article in Valiant CEO about why every successful founder eventually becomes the bottleneck. The response was overwhelming. What struck me most wasn't the number of people who read it. It was how many people told me afterwards: "I finally understand what you mean." That mattered to me. Because the real challenge isn't explaining AI. It's helping people see that AI isn't the starting point. Over the past few...

Good morning Reader, Last week, I wrote about how building something worthwhile changes the builder first. The company evolves. The story evolves. And, almost without noticing, so do you. But there is another stage in the journey that many successful founders eventually reach. The business has grown. Their expertise has become valuable. Clients want their judgement. Teams rely on their decisions. Opportunities increasingly depend on their involvement. From the outside, it looks like success....
